Mr. Huzenis has been active in the real estate industry for over 25 years. After acquiring his real estate license in 1980, he became associated with a local real estate agency. After two years, Mr. Huzenis and his brother Charley created their own firm. Jameson Realty Group, which began in 1982 as a small storefront office on Chicago’s near north side, has enjoyed tremendous growth over the past 25 years and now has over 120 people in the organization. Their 20,000 square foot facility in Chicago houses a sales and management team that includes specialists in both residential and commercial real estate.
Jameson Realty Group, while maintaining its prominence in traditional brokerage, has become one of the city’s foremost representatives of developers of both new construction and renovation projects. In the past year, Jameson’s sales of commercial and residential property totaled approximately $800,000,000.
The company further diversified into the investment and development areas with the creation of Jameson Development in 1992. As a joint venture partner, Mr. Huzenis has been involved with numerous residential and commercial developments including Ravenswood Lofts, Larchmont Lofts, Riverbend Lofts, Clinton Street Lofts, 616 W. Fulton Condominiums, Randolph Place, Clinton Complex, 1429 N. Wells, Greenview on the Park, Graceland Rowhomes, Jefferson Tower and 50 E. Chestnut.
Mr. Huzenis is a graduate of Roosevelt University, earning his Bachelor of Arts in 1976. He is active with the Jewish United Fund, Harold Eisenberg Foundation, Menomonee Club, Jewish Children & Family Services and Roosevelt University School of Real Estate. Mr. Huzenis is also a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors, Real Estate Investments Association, Lincoln Park Builders Club, Old Town Chamber and West Central Association of Chicago. In 2005, Harry was honored by the State of Israel Bonds and was also a recipient of the Lincoln Park Builders Club Impact Award.
